Do you enjoy organizing and running errands? Do you know a flathead screwdriver from a phillips? This could be just the opportunity for you!
We are looking for a volunteer or two who can commit 2 to 3 hours a week between the hours of 9:00-5:00. Their jobs would entail helping to keep our Partners in Housing supply room organized, as well as delivering supply totes to the homes we are working on.
This opportunity is very flexible!

Ending homlessness, one family at a time.
Description
Our mission is to help homeless families with children find permanent housing, and through our continuum of supportive programs and mentors, help them achieve sustainable self-sufficiency. Family Promise wants to ensure that children do not continue to cycle through our community’s homeless emergency system
With the help of area congregations, businesses, and over 2,000 community volunteers, we have helped more than 1,000 families and over 2,300 area children. The best news is that 90% of our families are successful in leaving shelter to find a new home and 85% of those families remain housed a year later.
Family Promise of Grand Rapids is part of a national network of over 200 independent affiliates across the country serving hundreds of thousands of families and children each year.
