Come Join Our Volunteer Naturalist Program! Heritage Museum of Orange County is home to some of the last few acres of freshwater wetlands in Santa Ana. We are looking for volunteers who are invested in sharing their love of nature with others by acting as nature walk guides! These volunteers will receive free training in order to lead nature walks and citizen science observations at HMOC. This is a multilingual program in that guides will be taught vocabulary in English, Spanish and Tongva (local Native American language).

The four week course will cover:
-watershed ecology
-plant communities
-wildlife
-habitat restoration
-Native American cultural history
-AND MUCH MORE!

FREE LUNCH
is included for each class.

Classes will be held Saturday mornings at HMOC beginning August 24, 2019 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.
