Come Join Our Volunteer Naturalist Program! Heritage Museum of Orange County is home to some of the last few acres of freshwater wetlands in Santa Ana. We are looking for volunteers who are invested in sharing their love of nature with others by acting as nature walk guides! These volunteers will receive free training in order to lead nature walks and citizen science observations at HMOC. This is a multilingual program in that guides will be taught vocabulary in English, Spanish and Tongva (local Native American language).

The six week course will cover:
-watershed ecology
-plant communities
-habitat restoration
-Native American cultural history

is included for each class.

Classes will be held Saturday mornings at HMOC beginning March 3, 2018 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.

Kids between the ages of 7-13 may participate with a parent or legal guardian who is also participating.
