The Heritage Library is looking for men and women to portray Revolutionary War and/or Civil War characters for our weekly historic site tours and for special events. The library owns two historic sites, Ft. Mitchel, a Civil War earthwork battery in Hilton Head Plantation, and Zion Chapel of Ease Cemetery, an antebellum site on the corner of William Hilton Parkway and Mathews Drive.
Ft. Mitchel tours are scheduled on Thursdays at 10:00, and Zion tours are on Fridays at 10:00. Each site will have rotating schedule of one character each week, and costumes are provided.
