- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
We are asking business, government and community leaders to judge a handful of essays and grade them on a scorecard that we will provide. Scoring will occur from the end of February through the month of March.
As a judge, you also will have the opportunity to market yourself or your business. Judges will have their names listed in program materials that will be distributed throughout Northeast Ohio. Materials will be sent through social media, e-mails and in print from now until May 2018.
Most importantly, judges will help mold the next generation of business leaders and participate in a truly innovative learning experience.
More information can be found on the contest website at http://www.wesolveproblems-essay.com/judges.html or by contacting Nelly at essay@gertsburglaw.com

Mission Statement
We Solve Problems was created to provide a truly innovative event for our community, in which business leaders share in the responsibility of teaching business skills to students while simultaneously facilitating possible solutions to a problem. By creating an essay contest, we aim to benefit students in the following ways: to train students and incentivize them to optimize two sets of skills, problem-solving and persuasive communication; facilitate productive, friendly competition to teach students goal-setting and achievement; reward students’ efforts by providing them with school recognition, community recognition, resume-building opportunities and a cash award or scholarship; to have business leaders, who will be future employers of the students, train them now on essential problem solving and communication skills.
Description
