The public is invited to attend the New Volunteer Information Session hosted by the DeKalb County CASA Program on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the Gregory A. Adams Juvenile Justice Center, 4309 Memorial Drive, Decatur, GA 30032. This session will provide an overview of the program for those interested in becoming a DeKalb County CASA volunteer. Please note that the next Volunteer Training Session is a Traditional Training class. Traditional Training consists of ten in-person sessions. In-person training sessions will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The location and dates of in-person training sessions will be provided upon acceptance. Mission Statement
The mission of the DeKalb County CASA is to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are under the protection of DeKalb Juvenile Court and are seeking to assure safe, permanent families for them as quickly as possible.
Description
DeKalb County CASA screens, trains, and supervises volunteers who provide a voice for abused and neglected children in the DeKalb Juvenile Court system.
