Education Department Interns
The Greenville Zoo Internship Program is designed to provide college students, or recent college graduates, with practical experience in an AZA accredited zoological environment. As an intern at the Greenville Zoo, you will be able to apply knowledge gained in the classroom to the ’real-world’ experience of day to day zoo operations. The Greenville Zoo Internship Program is both challenging and rewarding as we strive to provide you with the tools and experience necessary to pursue your chosen career paths.
This exciting and challenging atmosphere offers you the opportunity to supplement and apply your classroom knowledge.

It is the mission of the Parks and Recreation Department to improve the quality of life of Greenville citizens by providing high-quality parks and recreation services, improving neighborhoods, and maintaining public facilities at a high standard.
Description
Special Event Volunteers will be involved with various jobs and activities essential to supporting the success of the event. Duties may include, but not be limited to, meeting and directing the general public, setting up for events, cleaning after events, and other activities designated by the zoo staff.
