We are looking for volunteers who are willing to work with refugee youth (First through Eighth Grade) enrolled in the Syracuse City School District. The program looks to offer 1-on-1 assistance with homework, stem, and literacy skills. We also incorporate fun activities that boost self-confidence, instill a sense of civic-engagement, and reinvoke a love for learning. We are centrally located in downtown Syracuse and a few minutes walk from Syracuse, SUNY Upstate, and SUNY ESF Universities. With sessions 3 days a week from 4:30 to 6:00 PM and 6:30 to 8:00 PM, we offer flexible hours and dates.
