Inkaterra Asociaci?n invites you to take part in the Volunteer Program at Inkaterra Guides Field Station, to live the experience of conservation work and sustainable development in the field, within different areas offered by the Amazonian biodiversity of Madre de Dios and to promote the investigation.

As a volunteer, you will be integrated in the following projects:

  • Conservation of Amazonian palms
  • Maintenance of Amazonian crops in Biohuerto and organic farms
  • Establishment and management of forest nurseries
  • Wildlife monitoring with trap cameras
  • Monitoring of avifauna by sighting and ringing
  • Breeding and monitoring of Churos (Amazonian snails)
  • Registration and processing of monitoring data
  • Environmental education
  • Projects with communities

Volunteering program details:

  • From 1 to 12 weeks
  • From 18 years old
  • Airport pick up and drop off
  • Housing included
  • Meals included (3 per day)

Why pay to volunteer?

This volunteering program costs $50 per day. Inka Terra Asociaci?n is a Peruvian non-profit NGO. The price only covers the cost of accommodation, meals, transportation, staff salaries and equipment needed for the various projects. No benefit is collected by the association on the contribution of volunteers.
