Do you love animals? Want to help another animal-lover in need? Foster a pet for a family experiencing homelessness! At Family Promise of Greater Denver, we partner with area churches and synagogues to provide shelter for families without a home, but are unable to house families' pets at the congregations. We're looking for 4 families to be "on call" to shelter a family's pet for up to 3 months, while we work with the family to find more permanent housing. Contact us for more information!

Our mission is to form relationships with families at risk of or experiencing homelessness by providing shelter, meals, and a spectrum of supportive services as they obtain permanent stability.
Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!
