Hike Guide
By guiding our guests on a hike to Temescal Canyon and sharing information as an L.A. resident/local, you improve their travel experience and help HI USA achieve our goal of connecting travelers of all backgrounds to create a more inclusive world. Join this important work by volunteering with HI Los Angeles.
- Have the ability to complete a 2.6 mile loop hike
- Assist guests in mingling with each other and completing the hike
- Lead guests to Pacific Palisades Farmer's Market after the hike
- Answer travelers' questions about Los Angeles
- Time commitment of approximately 5 hours on Sunday mornings/afternoons.
- English speakers of all levels welcome

Who We Are
We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start: from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
