Are you looking for a way to make a difference? Do you have time and talents to share? Have computer skills? If so, consider volunteering at TBICO! We have volunteer positions for a Keyboarding Class Facilitator.
Objective: The Keyboarding Class instructor teaches proper typing techniques with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.
Primary Responsibility: Provide support and guidance in the classroom while students complete web-based and teacher led keyboarding exercises, drills, and tests.
- Assist students to sign in to website and navigate to lessons.
- Instruct students using oral drills and typing lessons from instruction books.
- Experience using online learning websites.
- Comfortable working with a diverse community of learners
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
Volunteers will spend time familiarizing themselves with the online learning site prior to start.
Time Commitment: Three (3) month minimum commitment based on classes scheduled. Classes are
Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Choose one to five days a week, depending on your availability.
