Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center, an innovative addiction center on Chicago's west side serving the homeless and formerly incarcerated at no charge, seeks a licensed acupuncturist (LAc.) for weekly 1.25 hour ear and/or forearm acupuncture sessions for relaxation and detoxification.
Will treat up to 15 participants at one time, many of whom will be new to acupuncture and, perhaps, with mild phobias to needles.
Duties include setting up a clean field, practicing clean needle technique, singing participation sheets, and entering in post-assessment sessions.
