Help Youth not die & to Become more Productive

We are looking for a team of at least 77 individuals to tackle the world's greatest need and hot button; violence, poverty, and mental health. We offer programming for all ages, kids and adults. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email tamara@vov.world.


What's needed?

Board members and a development team of fundraising experts, directors, marketing gurus, web developers and designers, marketing and advert specialists to manage our media, public relations experts, content reviewers and editors, volunteer managers to assist with training and onboarding, grant writers and an online response team to complete grant applications online and manage donor response. We also welcome people who have innovative ideas about how we can solve more every day problems and complete the mission of the organization.

We are looking for individuals with high energy and who want to make a difference. Must like working with and helping youth. In addition to the positions mentioned above, we have several other opportunities available which include administrative responsibilities, meeting with stakeholders, and working directly with youth, grades 6-12. We are especially looking for veterans and senior citizens as volunteers.


MISSION: To prevent violence, crime, poverty, suicide, mass incarceration, through the medium of restorative practices, mentorship, life skills, events, and activities, providing resources, educational classes, career development, sports, and multiple art forms.

We are here to promote thriving youth and economic development within impoverished high-crime communities, throughout the United States.

Mentorship reshaping, crisis and anger management are exchanged for positive self-expression. We strive to improve outcomes for at-risk youth and adults through positive development and access to community-based resources and support.

VISION: We envision a world where education and opportunity are equalized giving all people access to a future without limits.

Our program is the solution to these problems: Disconnected youth, lack of resources, poverty, violence, crime, suicide, and mass incarceration.

The solutions we offer to prevent problems from taking place are...

By providing sports and educational programming, business entrepreneurship programs and other services that will help prevent the aforementioned problems from taking place.

PROGRAMMING:

EDUCATIONAL CLASSES, ETC....

Life skills, financial literacy, CPR lifeguard certification, culinary classes, parenting classes, conflict resolution and self-control classes, etiquette dining classes, personal development classes, sportsmanship, power of difference, De-escalation training.

VIOLENCE AND CRIME PREVENTION...

Group mentorship, peace circles, counseling, mental health, job skills training, service projects, and community service.

Performing arts is the universal tool of connecting people a.k.a. the creative, which serves as a venting mechanism.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

  • Acting/performance in plays shows, and concerts (live performances)
  • Voice lessons
  • Dance lessons

Offer Programs with the mission to prevent crime & violence so we Execute peace circles, restorative justice, teach conflict resolution tactics, educational activities such as video games and movies. While having a great mechanism for change, it’s the platform to engage our youth both in basketball competitions & music competitions. Second phase of our program offer’s financial literacy, parenting classes, and entrepreneurship with our main focus on youth real life skills. They are our future doctors, lawyers, judges, attorneys, police officers, government, politicians, fire fighters, nurses and many other professionals.

The Corporation is organized for the charitable support of spiritual, emotional, educational, and/or scientific purposes to share knowledge, skills and talents. We aim to execute good deeds globally, and strive to invoke a healthy long-lasting positive change.
