Coordinate Saturday Lunch Delivery to North Augusta Habitat Volunteers

Many restaurants in North Augusta donate a meal to the 12-20 volunteers who volunteer with Habitat on Saturdays. We need someone to
- work with the restaurants to establish date for donating
- work with the construction manager to determine the number of volunteers to be fed
- in most cases, pick up and deliver the food to the construction site
We build one house each year. Construction usually runs about 6-8 months out of the year, but not necessarily every week during that period.
The Lunch Coordinator is encouraged to attend the once monthly Board meetings also.

Habitat for Humanity of North Augusta (HFHNA) is part of Habitat for Humanity International, a global, nonprofit housing organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide. We build a house each year in North Augusta that is then sold to a deserving, low-income family.
HFHNA is unique in that our entire organization is comprised of volunteers. A wide variety of talents contribute to our success. While you may typically think of construction activities when you think of Habitat, we also need professional services such as finance, public relations, social media, legal, real estate, fund raising, etc. Our opportunities provide volunteers with the flexibility to set their own hours and to work from their own home or office.
