Join us for fun in the garden every second Saturday of the month, 9:00-noon for our Andy's Unity Park Community Garden workday. Bring your gloves if you have them and help us know out some weeds, build compost, tend plants, build garden plots and beautify this amazing community resource! Bring plenty of water and a picnic lunch to enjoy after work is done. It is through volunteers like you that this garden will become a jewel in our community.
Be part of the new Community Garden at Andy’s Unity Park. LandPaths was selected to develop this important community hub at Andy’s Unity Park in the Moorland neighborhood of Santa Rosa. This garden will be modeled after the successful model LandPaths developed at Bayer Farm in the Roseland neighborhood. Monthly work days will take place the 2nd Saturday of every month .

About LANDPATHS

Mission Statement
LandPaths' mission is to foster a love of the land in Sonoma County. LandPaths creates ways for people to experience the beauty, understand the value, and assist in healing the land in their local communities.
Description
LandPaths' public outings visit open spaces, farms and parks-in-development throughout Sonoma County.
LandPaths' In Our Own Backyard (IooBY) program works with 17 schools, including many schools serving low-income students- often those least likely to experience the outdoors. Students explore and learn about the land through 4 theme-based field trips- Discovery, Watershed, Wildlife Habitat, culminating in a Stewardship project.
LandPaths' ongoing volunteer stewardship projects include: removing non-native plant species to improve natural wildlife habitat, repairing old logging and ranch roads to increase and improve steelhead spawning habitat, planting native plants, tending the community garden at Bayer Farm, and preparing newly protected properties for future public use.
