Girls on the Run is a 10 week after school program that focuses on building girls joyfulness, healthiness and confidence. The lessons incorporate healthy activity and the girls build up their running and walking throughout the 10 weeks. At the end of the 10 week program all of the girls from the program come together to complete a 5k. The 5k is celebratory and is not timed. It helps to show the girls that if they work towards a goal they can complete it!

We need volunteers on the course and also prior to the event. The morning of the event we set up Girl Village where girls get their face painted, color their hair decorate their race bib and more! We get them excited for the 5k and volunteers help with all of the activities! Come help girls find their limitless potential!
