Do you want to change a student's life this school year? It's not too late! The Youth Tutoring Program needs more caring and dedicated volunteers like you to be one-to-one mentors/tutors for students living in six low-income housing communities around Seattle.
We need your help to serve more students!
YTP serves a diverse group of students, 99% of whom are children of color and many who come from immigrant and refugee families. We match tutors and students 1:1 to foster the best mentoring and tutoring relationships. We focus on skill building for our students to catch-up and get ahead in school.
Not only do we train our volunteers to be effective tutors, we provide our volunteers with the tools they need (such as individualized tutor plans and skill-building activities) to make a difference!
