King Conservation District, Forterra, and the City of Redmond are partnering together to launch a new pilot Neighborhood Steward program, and you can be a part of our inaugural work! Get your hands dirty and come out to volunteer at Redmond’s East Valley Heights Natural Area. Continue the great work already started by volunteers, and help us remove invasive weeds in order to restore the health of these forests.

Everyone can help! All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. We provide all of the tools and training needed. So bring along your friends and family and get your hands dirty!

If you’re interested in volunteering or would like more information, please email Nicole Marcotte at or call 206-905-6924!
