Join the San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning Committee!
Help put an end to Alzheimer's by joining our year-round planning committee for the San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer's. We are looking for passionate, dedicated volunteers who have interest in event planning, networking, grassroots marketing, securing sponsors, building relationships and having fun! There will be a Committee Recruitment Mixer held in March where you can meet committee members and learn about the various sub-committees you could be part of! For more details call 415-463-8502 or email sfwalk@alz.org. The committee meets monthly at the Alzheimer's Association Office in San Francisco. Time commitment ranges from 5-10 hours per month depending on roles and what your schedule allows.

Description
We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change.
At the Alzheimer's Association, diversity and inclusion are vital to our mission. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and a culture of inclusivity. These strategic initiatives also strengthen outreach to all populations, providing communities with resources and support to address the Alzheimer’s crisis. By partnering with organizations locally and nationally to advance diversity and inclusion, the Association can broaden its reach in all communities.
