Volunteer at Fun New Event to Benefit Make-A-Wish Minnesota!

Please join us in supporting our new national event partner, the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K, by volunteering on race day! This fun event will take place on Saturday, April 14th, from 6:00-11:30 am at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis. The minimum age to volunteer is 14 and you do not have to be a Make-A-Wish registered volunteer to sign up, so please consider signing up with your friends and family. Volunteers will be assigned one of three high-profile spots on race day:
- Finish Line
- Make-A-Wish Mile Aid Station
- Post-Race Hot Chocolate Tent
As a thank you, all volunteers will receive a sport jacket and Hot Chocolate 15K/5K swag bag. Contact volunteerservices@wishmn.org to sign up. We hope to see you there!

Mission Statement
Together, we grant life-changing wishes to kids with critical illnesses.
Description
The Minnesota chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 5,800 wishes to children with critical illnesses across the state since it began in 1982. With help from volunteers in areas of wish granting, fundraising, and administrative support, we make more than 200 wishes come true in Minnesota every year, showing these courageous kids that anything is possible.
