Schedule: 5-10 hours a week


How you’ll make an impact

WGLI is seeking a Content Writer who is driven to develop high-quality content to promote WGLI’s core message. This individual will be responsible for maintaining WGLI’s overall content calendar as well as write content on a regular basis

What you will do

  • Marketing team:
    • Develop a content calendar based on core themes and messages identified by the marketing team
    • Ideally content will come out at least 1-2 times per month based on specific themes or events happening during the month
    • Content can include anything from website copy, blogs and news articles, social media posts, content for digital advertising banners, case studies, white-papers, and ebooks, content for landing pages, and more

You have these skills

  • Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles/tones
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar
  • An understanding of women leaders and motivations behind them (or the ability to research and come up to speed in this category)
  • Great research, organizational, and learning skills
  • High comprehension of software like Microsoft Word and Google Docs
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and other SEO best practices (to incorporate appropriate language in content)
  • An understanding of formatting articles on the web
