ICWP - a playwrights' organisation, needs a Magazine Editor to coordinate contributions from member contributors.
ICWP has around 250 members mainly in USA, Canada, UK and others across the world. About the Newsletter The current Magazine content is produced quarterly by ICWP member volunteer contributors. The content includes: Important Announcements - about ICWP activities
Letter from the President
Playwright profiles from a specific country or region with Interviews, script extracts, photos The Magazine is delivered to members in two formats.

  1. A Full version posted on the public-facing section of the ICWP website
The Magazine Editor's role is to
  1. Co-ordinate the contributions of the other volunteers so that content is delivered in a timely fashion.
  2. Determine the content of the Newsletter in conjunction with the Communications Manager and the President
  3. Liaise with the Communications Manager and the Board ICWP Board
The Full Newsletter content ( text and Images) is uploaded a a PDF to the Magazine Page on the ICWP website. The editor should be familiar with
  • editing web pages
  • Image editing
  • converting documents to PDF
Some training will be given in using the ICWP systems There will be a period of working with the current editor before the final handover of responsibilities
