ORGANIZATION: Friends of MJHS

Young ladies ages 16-adult are invited to pledge Nu Sigma Theta and help us grow a thriving colony in the New York City area. Quarterly meetings will be held in Midtown, Manhattan (starting in June, 2018).

The ladies of Nu Sigma Theta will be responsible for helping us with our current portfolio of service projects - many of which can be done virtually (or from home). But, they will also help us develop programs and services which are "female-specific" (we are a co-ed organization). Some of the programs and activities will be related to helping us develop a social presence, while others will be geared towards helping us develop professionally.

Each month, you will receive a list of projects and activities. Participate in the ones that you have time for. We keep track of the projects you participate in for those who need verification of community service hours.

Pledging is really easy and this is the last year that we will recruit using this method. We are especially looking for young ladies who might be willing to lead (or participate in) dance, step, bowling and basketball teams as well as ladies who can plan events and talent competitions.

We look forward to meeting you!
