ORGANIZATION: American Heart Association

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 2 people are interested

The Lake and Geauga Counties Heart Walk is excited to welcome you on Saturday, June 2! Volunteers are needed to help with simple set up including monitoring Eat Street (refilling granola bars, fruit, and water on tables), helping sponsors set up their tables, handing out programs, and guiding participants to areas in the festival space and along the route. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.

This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to come out and support the American Heart Association. All funds raised at this event help fight cardiovascular diseases and stroke in Northeast Ohio, the #1 and #5 killers of Americans.

This is a community wide event with free admission, free health screenings, free hands-only CPR training, and a lapped walk in the beautiful Metroparks Farmpark. Dogs are welcome to enjoy our pet station and join their families on the route. Bring your entire family where kids can play in Kidzone and learn about fruits and veggies in our Teaching Gardens. After the walk, everyone is encouraged to stay and enjoy the Farmpark, free of charge. If interested, please reach out to Stephanie Snyder at Stephanie.Snyder@heart.org to register to volunteer!!
