Best Friends is looking for a few people to assist with our Texas Freedom of Information Request volunteer position. This is an impactful volunteer opportunity that you can do from the comfort of your own home.

Volunteers in this position should be located in the state of Texas and will be responsible for requesting 2016 statistics of dogs and cats entering Texas animal shelters so that Best Friends will be able to understand and target areas that need the most help when it comes to Saving Them All. Interested volunteers should be able to attend a webinar for orientation and instruction (which requires a computer with internet access), and be comfortable dealing with city officials by email and possibly USPS and phone.
