The Innovative Tech Team is an internship with members that contribute on a per-project basis for on-going support with technology throughout the year. Interns are expected to commit to the timeline specified for the project they are recruited for. A general time commitment for volunteers is 5 hours per week for the course of the project, including meetings and trainings, for the total a one year term. ITT members carry out their roles with the guidance of Project Leads assigned from within the organization, have opportunities for leadership on projects and often collaborate with colleagues across the organization. Projects run the gamut up to one year and can include such things as technology consulting, education, evaluation and design.

We are looking for interns that will work on several upcoming projects. All ITT members are expected to work on at least 1 internet forum per year.

Be advised, this is not your traditional internship at all! The work you do will directly impact the organization and you will be in a unique position to gain hands-on non-profit knowledge in the process. Successful applicants are comfortable working independently and with a team in a virtual office setting, our team operates from remote locations in the world.

Opportunities for travel may apply. We are a volunteer run e-organization but will do our best to supply adequate assistance for some organization travel, however, it is not guaranteed. Interns are not paid, but can become eligible to participate in the staff perks and recognition system. Interns are also eligible to receive school credit for their work, provided they have the permission of the school.
