Organize your family, neighbors, friends, church or civic organization members to help volunteer to close up the garden for the summer.
Make plans now to join thousands of volunteers of all ages across America who will be taking
part in efforts to clean up and improve their local communities. In celebration of Earth Day and
to enhance the quality of life in Palm Beach County, improvements include beautifying,
maintaining and sustaining public spaces by inspiring generations of environmental stewards.
Local activities of the Great American Cleanup include a massive removal of litter and waste,
tree plantings, recycling activities, painting of run-down buildings and beautifying our
neighborhoods, roadways and waterways.
Demonstrate your individual responsibility by taking part in this annual effort to make Palm
Beach County neighborhoods and public spaces a safe, more enjoyable place to live, work
and play !!

Mission Statement
Cason Community Garden connects and educates all ages and cultures through sustainable and organic farming.
Description
Cason United Methodist Church (CUMC) has been a beacon of hope in Delray Beach for 115 years. Since 1903, our commitment to serve the community continues to this day with programs such as Family Promise, our bag lunch program and the community garden.
Local residents have been tilling the soil at Cason Community Garden (CCG) since 2008. The garden at CUMC has supplied nearly 4,000 pounds of organic produce to the Caring Kitchen of Delray for the needy.
