Our largest fundraiser for the year is held in November, pancreatic cancer awareness month. We need a range of volunteers, to stay with auction items, to welcome and check in guests, to sell 50-50 raffle tickets and to check out payments on the end of the event.

Raising awareness and advancing research for the early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Description
Sky Foundation raises awareness of a cancer in as many outlets as possible including appearing at local art fairs, wellness gathers and hospitals. We have a Young Professional Group that works diligently on social media and creating fundraisers throughout the year.
Our main goal is to provide seed grants to researchers so that they are able to get larger grants from this. We have a governing board, fundraising committee and advisory board; all of which collaborate to find the best researchers with innovative projects that could introduce a new direction for research. Another interesting thing about our foundation is that it is founded and ran on a daily basis by a (now) 10-year survivor of pancreatic cancer! She is an advocate for those who are recently diagnosed and connects those people with the most renounced doctors and surgeons.
