Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
Community Based Mentoring is our traditional mentoring program that Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for. Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) and choose a variety of mutually enjoyable activities in the community.
Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, offering suggestions, support, counsel and assistance.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a driver's license, and must be able to pass a background check.
Presently, Big Brothers Big Sisters Pikes Peak is in of male volunteers to be Big Brothers to children and youth in the community of Colorado Springs. Currently, we have several Little Brothers enrolled waiting to be matched with a Big.
Please consider volunteering to make a difference in the life of young kid facing adversity.
