This is a basic call for passionate volunteers who care about our veteran and military communities. USASOA provides several successful grassroots programs and services that deal with the challenges facing our veteran and military communities: veteran homelessness and hunger, suicide prevention, advocacy for effective policy and legislation, and support for our ill, injured, and wounded veterans and service members, and direct support for combat-related injured.

Please look at our programs and services on our website ww.USASOA.org and send us a message if you would like to use your abilities, skills, and talents in helping to ensure that our veterans are treated as our greatest national treasures. PLEASE EMAIL US DIRECTLY WHEN RESPONDING TO THIS OPPORTUNITY: john@usasoa.org

Food For Troops program: provides food and toiletries to low-income military families.

Homeless and Elderly Veterans Outreach programs: We hold monthly food collection drives to gather nonperishable food and essentials. Using those items, our volunteers assemble care packages we hand deliver to homeless veterans on the streets, veterans living in VA Transitional Housing Units, and elderly veterans who are food insecure.

Operation Reboot - Peer to Peer Group is open to all veterans and service members of every age and period of service to come together in the spirit of fellowship and sharing-like experiences.

Care Packages For Our Deployed Troops; Deployed troops engage our organization by requesting care and comfort items while deployed in various places worldwide.

Christmas Cards For Our Troops: We receive tens of thousands of Holiday cards from people all across the nation, including places of worship, schools, civic groups, hospitals, nursing homes, colleges, businesses, athletic groups, and more. Our volunteers' sort and box all cards to be shipped to various military basis around the world in time for Christmas.
