We cannot protect the Amazon rainforest alone. The majority of our resources are focused to employ conservation solutions on the ground, but our lean DC office of less than 10 employees provides management, fundraising, marketing, development, and technical expertise on all of our conservation efforts.
Our interns and volunteers are an integral part of our team, as they go above the regular internship tasks and focus on researching conservation trends in the Amazon, using GIS technologies to detect deforestation, create engagement on social media platforms, and much more. We're currently looking for a volunteer to help us with office support tasks such as data entry, managing our donor database, providing stewardship for our donors, translating documents, conducting research, creating newsletters, and helping with miscellaneous projects. We have a casual work environment and will ensure you learn a lot about conservation while you volunteer with us. We're happy to provide recommendation letters and college credit for your time.
Join our team of dedicated conservationists for a volunteer opportunity tailored for you and take your portfolio and resume to the next level all while protecting the Amazon rainforest!
