Looking for volunteers in the Union and Rock Hill area of South Carolina. Caring people that can spare an hour or two a week to help with the life of a hospice patient. Someone that can give companionship and joy to someone else. Volunteers make a difference, whether it's sitting with a patient to provide relief for the care giver, reading to a patient, helping a patient with writing a letter, or just listening to them. Hospice patients do have a lot of living to do and volunteers can help with that.

Description
We give the gift of caring. Volunteers are the heart of the hospice team. Hospice care is about helping individuals and their families share the best days possible as they deal with a life-limiting illness. Our volunteers help provide support and care to our patients and their families. The volunteers offer support, companionship, and practical care to our patients. Being a hospice volunteer will truly make a difference.
