English Conversation Facilitator at Davis Migrant Camp

The Yolo County Library is looking for a volunteer to run an English Conversation Group on Fridays from 6:30 - 8:30 pm (program from 7 - 8 pm) at the Davis Migrant Center starting at the end of April 2018, running through the beginning of September 2018.

No experience required. However, with that being said, we are looking for someone who is fluent in Spanish, or comfortable, with speaking and reading both English and Spanish. The members of the Davis Migrant Center asked for an English Conversation Facilitator who knows Spanish so they can feel comfortable and communicate with them when needed. We would provide transportation from the Davis Library to the Davis Migrant Center, in needed for the facilitator. The location of the Davis Migrant Center is roughly 9 miles away from the library.
