Social Media Outreach at Entrepreneurship Non-Profit for Veterans

Bunker Labs NYC is need of a highly motivated individual who has knowledge and experience in event planning and project management. The candidate should have relationships in Manhattan who can help produce fun, unique, and entertaining events at amazing locations-we have some of the existing relationships with WeWork, Google, and eBay but we're looking to diversify our options-with some education and speaking elements at each production.
The candidate should also have proven experience strong social media marketing background and like to have fun with marketing the events and current chapter news. Understanding MailChimp is a plus as the position requires a monthly draft of our newsletter. What’s more, they will oversee the coordination of programming with our current volunteer staff.
The ideal match is someone with a strong and diverse social media background, event planning, and a great relationship builder, and who understands Google Drive, knows Google Calendar, has great time management skills, and one who can address miscellaneous needs as they arise.
The position calls for about 10 -15 hours per week. This a great opportunity to serve, ad to your resume, and build your personal and business networks.
The candidates will work out of our WeWork location in Midtown Manhattan and may work on their own projects or coursework which, is welcomed and encouraged. Veterans and/or military spouses or family members are not necessary, as we are community driven and inclusive.
