The GATE River Run is a USA 15K Championship Event. There is an accompanying Florida Times Union 5K for Charity, a Junior River Run, and a Brooks Challenge Mile. Volunteers get a free t-shirt and donations benefit the ALS Association Florida Chapter, Jacksonville Walk.

Wednesday March 7th - 12pm-3pm or 3pm-6pm

Expo Hall load-in from Noon until 6 PM at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds.

Help set-up and organize t-shirts, packets, timing chips, hang banners, and arrange registration area.

Thursday, March 8th - 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, or 4pm-6pm

Registration and Packet Pickup in the Expo Hall at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds

Handing out packets, timing chips and t-shirts from 10 AM until 6 PM

Friday, March 9th - 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm, 4pm-6pm, or 6pm-8pm

Registration and Packet Pickup in the Expo Hall at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds

Start/Finish line construction

Set up start and finish line,hang banners on fence, put up pace signs start on Duval Street starting line in from of Fairgrounds at Noon. Finish at 5 PM

Saturday, March 10th - 7am-9am

Start line Control and Cleanup

Help control runners prior to the start of the race. Once runner clear the area, help clean up cups, bottles and and trash left by the runners around the start area.

Saturday, March 10th - 7am-11am

Race Ambassadors

Serve as information stewards, helping direct people to starting areas, post-race areas, first aid and more. Volunteers will have clipboards with maps, event itinerary, contact numbers & more. **Requires walking throughout shift (no sitting)

March 10th - 11am-3pm

Start and Finish teardown

Start at 11 AM Finish at 3 PM Remove start and finish system, take down all banners and signs, and pickup trash left at both areas.

March 10th - 12pm-3pm 3pm

Expo Hall Move out - Jax Fairgrounds

load all registration materials back on trucks from noon until 3 PM
