The Children's Museum of Richmond, a not-for-profit organization, exists to create innovative learning experiences for all children and those who support them that inspire the next generation of creative problem solvers. The Children's Museum of Richmond will foster a community that recognizes and appreciates that children grow and learn through play.

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist in our Garden. The Garden allows children of all ages to learn, express, and explore! Using a wide variety of materials and techniques, Gardeners create both individual and collaborative products. The open-ended nature fosters a sense of accomplishment and individuality.

We ask all volunteers to commit to a minimum of 2-3 one hour shifts a week for at least 6 months. All volunteers must complete an orientation, offered once a month, before beginning service.

*The Children's Museum of Richmond does not currently accept volunteers who need court-ordered community service hours.
