Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak

Currently, Big Brothers Big Sisters is in need of male volunteers to be mentors (Big Brothers) to youth in the Colorado Springs community. Presently, we have several Little Brothers enrolled and waiting to be matched with a Big Brother. Please consider volunteering!

Also, if you know of anyone who may potentially be interested in volunteering with us, please send them our way!

Community Based Mentoring is the traditional mentoring program that Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for. Volunteers are matched with a child (9 to12) and choose a variety of mutually enjoyable activities in the community.

Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times a each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors, offering suggestions, counsel and assistance.

Being a Big Brother or Big Sister means being a special friend and role model to a child through a one-to-one caring and consistent relationship. Programs are flexible to accommodate a variety of schedules.
