Aseracare Hospice has achieved Level Four of the We Honor Veterans Program in conjunction with the National Hospice Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs. We all want to deliver complete care. We need veterans to visit other veterans today, to companion with this very special population. If you are a vet, you share common issues. End of life concerns for our military deserve the best we can offer. Perhaps that's you! Our services include pinning ceremonies, end of life reviews, bereavement and grief support. Families benefit too.

Description
AseraCare is a hospice agency that provides care to patient in the end stages of life. We serve patients in their own homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
We focus on serving the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of our team, patients and families with a sense of compassion, urgency and customer service. AseraCare is passionate about creating a culture that is dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering which finds expression through the ongoing gentle acts of kindness, sympath and compassion. Volunteers at AseraCare will be a friend in someone's end of life journey to ensure they are comfortable.
AseraCare Hospice volunteers enhance quality of life and reduce the burden of caregiving by providing dirrerent types of support to patients and families. Companions, pet therapy, music volunteers, Reiki Practitioners, Massage therapists, and more visit our patients on a regular basis. If you wish to share your heart and help a terminally ill patient in any way you can contact our Volunteer Coordinator to learn about our exciting new opportunities!
