Come plant your piece of history! Please join us to reforest Sawyer's Mill Park in Deep Creek, Chesapeake! We will supply trees, tools, work gloves and cool drinks. Please wear old clothes and sturdy shoes to help plant over 1,500 pine tree seedlings across 3 acres of Sawyer's Mill Park.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the Chesapeake Environmental Improvement Council is to promote interest in the general improvement of the environment of Chesapeake thereby making Chesapeake a cleaner place to live. It's mission is to promote litter prevention, recycling, and beautification by providing citizens an opportunity to get involved at the grassroots level.
Description
The CEIC is a citizen council consisting of eighteen volunteers appointed by the Mayor to serve three-year terms on the governing board. However, thousands of other volunteers are actively involved in CEIC projects and sub-committees. Visitors are welcome to attend CEIC monthly meetings
