it's not too late to volunteer -There are still volunteer opportunities available.
Each year Chippewa Nature Center celebrate our Maple Syrup Season with our annual Maple Syrup Day-this year our event will be held on Saturday, March 17th. Volunteers play a critical role in making the event a success for over 1,000 visitors. The event is from 10-4 pm but shifts are much shorter.
Opportunities are diverse: Adult volunteers can work the admission gate (outside) from 1:00-3:15 or help run the Snow cone machine to shave ice for the Syrup on Snow demonstration, (outside in the barn) or serve as a seating hostess with the pancake meal from 11:00-2:30 pm
Teens and adults can volunteer with the pancake meal from 11:00-- 2:45 or Children's Crafts from 9:15-11:45; 11:30-2:00 or 1:45-4:15.
Consider volunteering to help make this a great event for our community-volunteers are invited to enjoy the event for free before or after their shift.
