Volunteer at Enlightened Theatrics in one of these positions:

Usher: Helping patrons find their seats and handing out programs before the performance.

Ticket Taker: Greet patrons and take tickets as they are entering the theaters.

Concessions: Help with serving patrons beverages and snacks for the performance.

We need volunteers to assist during the run of the shows which run Wednesday - Saturday @7:30pm and Sundays @ 2:30pm. We request that the volunteers show up at 6:20pm for 7:30pm shows and at 1:20pm for 2:30pm shows.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the mission of Enlightened Theatrics is to enrich the cultural and economic development of Salem, Oregon by offering professional stage experiences, providing access to performing arts education for all, and revitalizing the Historic Grand Theatre.

Description

In short, Enlightened Theatrics’ is focused on elevating the Salem experience. Founded in February 2013, Enlightened Theatrics strives to maintain an open rapport amongst artists, patrons and staff, honor and promote our mission and vision, and consistently reflect on our past experiences to enhance future endeavors while maintaining a safe, creative and collaborative environment for our organization and the community at large. In the hands of a dedicated team consisting of production and entertainment experts, Enlightened Theatrics has evolved and forged a singular identity for utilizing the performing arts, events and community engagements as vehicles for cultural and economic development, while serving as a resource for education, professional growth, production and outreach.
