Partners offers two unique mentoring program - One-to-one Mentoring and Art Partners.
The One-to-one program matches youth ages 6-17 with screened and trained adult volunteers with constant support from staff. The two agree to spend an average of 3 hours per week together for one year. Partnerships are matched based on interests and personalities and more than 4 of 5 partnerships complete one year. Many continue for two, three even several years together. Partners staff provides training, support and monthly activities.
Art Partners matches aspiring middle and high school artists with area artists, artisans and craftspeople in three month art internships. During that time the two refine skills and create work. some of which is shown at the annual Partners Art Expo. Art partnerships also explore new mediums during Partners Art Workshops.
