Music and Memory Hospice Internship

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Yolo Hospice/YoloCares/Citizens Who Care

Change the lives of people with dementia by offering music to them. Our certified Music and Memory program is supported by research that states that music can improve quality of life. An intern would assist with the detective work needed to make a playlist and load it onto an iPod. The intern would then take the iPod out to the patient and introduce music to them adjusting the playlist as needed. Interns need to be tech savvy and passionate about music and helping those with dementia at the end of life. A very rewarding volunteer opportunity.
