We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to engage our communities and share the mission of Broward Crime Stoppers through a multitude of outreach events located throughout Broward County.
Please consider the following before making a commitment to move forward with the application process:
- You must be a resident of Broward County.
- Most events take place on weekends. Are you able to commit 5 - 6 hours on a weekend to volunteer at our Crime Stoppers table?
- Are you able to help set up and break down our displays? Many events require standing, bending, and lifting.
- You must be 18 or older and a mandatory criminal background check must be run before anyone can be cleared to volunteer.

To serve as an information and intelligence gathering organization effectively engaging the community to assist law enforcement in the apprehension of criminals and to provide a method to educate the community concerning issues of crime and other unlawful activities affecting the citizens of Broward County.
Description
Broward County Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization dedicated to solving and preventing crime in Broward County Florida.
Crime Stoppers serves as a clearinghouse for tips, and acts as a liaison between anonymous citizens and law enforcement agencies. When a Citizen (or Tipster) calls in with a tip or information about a crime, Crime Stoppers disseminates that information to the appropriate law enforcement agency for immediate action. If the tip leads to an arrest, the Tipster will receive their reward anonymously.
