Overview
The Copywriter volunteer will help Freeset USA produce excellent copy for use in communications, marketing & fundraising materials. This volunteer will create new copy, as well as review & edit existing content. Must be sensitive to the needs of Freeset USA and the individuals that we work for.
Typical Duties
- Work closely with the Creative & Communications manager
- Write content for social media posts (2-3 posts/week)
- Edit & proofread website copy
- Write content for marketing materials
Time Commitment
- 1-3 hours per week - Flexible hours.
Qualifications:
Experience writing copy
Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, & LinkedIn
Organized, efficient, and self-motivated
Interest in social change and activism
College Credit Opportunity
- This role can be tailored to fit the requirements of internships if needed. The role is suitable for credits in marketing, journalism, or writing programs.
