THE MEDICAL TEAM Hospice is looking for volunteers who want to dedicate their time to providing compassionate companionship to our patients. As a volunteer you may make visits at a patients’ private home or at a nursing facility where they reside. The role of a volunteer would be to spend quality time with our patients engaging them in conversation and/or activities. A volunteer and patient may do activities together such as, play cards, read books, watch TV/movies, listen to music, go for walks, shopping, paint nails, beauty care, games, arts/crafts and other numerous leisure activities. Our patients enjoy music therapy, art, and pet therapy if available. Also, there are opportunities to help with the facilities' activities/events.
