Volunteers needed to assist with a mobile food distribution! Volunteers will need to help set-up starting at 1:30pm. The distribution is from 2pm-4pm. During the distribution, 1-2 volunteers will assist clients fill out the needed paper work and checking them in. The other volunteers will be packaging food and providing to the clients. After the distribution, there is clean-up that will include putting away tables & materials and breaking down boxes.

For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
