Holy Redeemer Health System is seeking Pastoral Care volunteers to visit with our patients and residents in the hospital and our skilled nursing facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Visit newly admitted patients and residents
- Refer patients to the appropriate personnel or department for consultation
- Give support to patients and their families
- Pray with the sick and dying
Prior to working with our patients and residents, volunteers are required to obtain a background check and a tuberculosis skin test. Any interested applicants will be invited to come to the hospital for an in-person interview prior to beginning the application process.
