Looking to be part of a New New York Aquarium?
The New York Aquarium is changing this summer, opening its newest exhibit, Ocean Wonders: Sharks. Volunteers are greatly needed to guide & assist visitors, facilitate fun activities in the aquarium and on the beach!
Youth (ages 14 - 21)can apply for a unique and fun experience as a Discovery Guide for the summer season. In addition to the volunteer experience, additional career development opportunities will be offered to cultivate professional skills and build resumes for members of our youth team.

Volunteers must apply, if accepted attend an interview, and training before being accepted into the program.

Description

The New York Aquarium is a 14 acre living museum that presents to our visitors living treasures that once lost can never be recreated. The aquarium provides an enjoyable and educationa experience for the whole family to enjoy. Pacific walruses, sandtiger sharks, sea otters, and 10,000 other species call this place home.
