It's time for WestSide Baby's Annual Tea Benefit and we need your help! This year's theme is "cultivate." We will highlight how WestSide Baby's roots grew from a simple idea that all children should have the basic essentials they need to grow healthy and strong. We would be honored to have you join us to cultivate a stronger and healthier community together!
Date: Sunday, April 22, 2018
Location: Sheraton, Downtown Seattle - NEW LOCATION
Event Time: 2pm-4pm (Volunteer shift times vary depending on role, see below)
Did you know it requires approximately 70 volunteers to pull off our Annual Tea Benefit?
We hope that you can join us in volunteering for WestSide Baby's 17th Annual CommuniTea! Our volunteers are vital in ensuring the event is successful by settting up, assisting with program components, registering guests, and many other roles. Each year, our volunteers really create the ultimate experience for everyone at the event. Will you join us?
We’re looking for volunteers to help with a variety of volunteer roles and shifts. Volunteer roles and general shift times below:
- Pre event tasks (favor assembly, registration packet stuffing, etc.)
- Set-up (morning)
- Registration (12:30pm - 4:30pm)
- Raffle ticket sales (12:30pm - 4:30pm)
- Drink ticket sales (12:45 - 4:00pm)
- Coat Check (12:45pm - 4:30pm)
- Greeters and lobby floaters (1:00pm - 5:00pm)
- Clean-up (4:30pm - 6:00pm)
- Post event tasks (thank you letters, data entry, etc.)

WestSide Baby, in partnership with our community , provides essential items to local children in need by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing, and equipment.
Description
WestSide Baby meets the basic needs of children to promote safety, security & healthy development. We provide essential items to keep children safe, warm and dry by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing, and equipment throughout Western King County. We receive donations from the community, check and sort those donations, and distribute them directly to 100+ partner agencies, who are experts in areas of early learning, parental support and healthcare and who work authentically, and directly with families and children. WestSide Baby envisions a day when each child is equipped with the basic items they need to grow into healthy, happy, and resilient members of our community.
